What's a story without a middle and an end
It's ordinary to feel left out without a friend
I won't hesitate to find
That state of peace
That piece of mind
That's all to me

And have no worries about the bills or making rent
Those words they bored me, I fell asleep to what was read
And when everything all falls apart
Would you pick things up try and start again

Clean up this glitter
Scattered round the room
And look towards a future
Of apathy and gloom
Let loose the water
To strip this silly color from your hair
Cause they care
Well I won't pretend to be like them at all

And I still regret
And I'm still remiss

Well don't hold your temper
The reason for your anger seems so moot
When everybody seems to scatter
Are they to blame
If not it's maybe you
Now I see a shadow
A change is coming now
And so they wept
I can't help but laugh cause I'm not like them at all

But I still regret
And I'm still remiss

It's alright it's okay
Some people change it's not worth getting so sad
Tomorrow's a new day
To reinvent yourself and try it again

And what's a story if it never comes to end
We're temporary consciousness in residence
And if that was all to come undone
Well try again and love someone for me
